Evacuation advised as Krosa approaches – NHK WORLD

Evacuation instructions and advisories have been issued in some prefectures in western Japan, as severe tropical storm Krosa approaches the region.
Evacuation instructions, a level-four alert on a scale of five meaning residents should quickly flee to safer ground, are in place, as of 8 p.m., for five people in Wakayama Prefecture, western Japan.
Evacuation advisories, also a level-four alert, have been issued to more than 150,000 households, or about 310,000 residents.
